"I like speed skating because it is very similar to roller skating, the sport I have been practising since a young age. My mother practised figure skating and my dad did rink hockey. My grandmother was a cashier at a roller skating venue in Gujan-Mestras. I became immersed into the world of skating from an early age. What I liked about speed skating is the sporting adventure, very different from my personal and structured cocoon that I have been living since my childhood, which meant getting out of my comfort zone, and especially finding another taste of training without leaving my passion for roller skating."
