"At school we received a brochure that invited us to practise the sport and I liked it, even if I didn't know how it would be. I told my parents to sign me up and they were surprised too as they didn't know what the sport was. They signed me up and I went along with a friend and began skating twice a week. I became very passionate very quickly. I love the speed, especially in the 500m. It's a beautiful feeling to skate so fast on the ice. The adrenaline is special."
