RETIREMENT AND RETURN
He retired from the sport in February 2015, partly because of financial reasons, and moved to the UK for work. However, on a visit home he met speed skating coach Wieslaw Kmiecik who convinced him to return to the sport. He initially fit skating in around his work and family commitments, but was then selected for the national team and became a full-time athlete again. "I didn't think that I could return to the sport.
