MEDAL AFTER TRAGEDY
While she was competing at the 2019 World Roller Games in Barcelona, Spain, her father passed away in a car accident. She won a bronze medal two days later and dedicated the medal to her father. (repubblica.it, 12 Jul 2019)
PHYSICAL GOALS
In 2023 she spoke about building her physical conditioning in order to improve her performance in the longer distance races, including the mass start. "In my plans there is certainly the goal of improving in physical terms to be stronger in the mass start. I hope I will become more competitive in order to go for the medals because this sport is technically peculiar as we slide on a one millimetre blade and in order to find the right push and fluency there is a lot of physical and mental work to do."
