He was conceived by in vitro fertilisation [IVF] on the same day that Norwegian speed skater Johann Olav Koss won gold in the 5000m at the 1994 Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer. He was then born on October 28, one day before Koss' 26th birthday. "He will be named Johann and he should become a speed skater," his father said after the birth.
