In March 2022 she received the Gold Cross of Merit of Hungary in recognition of her contributions to sport, following her bronze medal at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing. BREAK AND RETURN
She took a break from short track during the 2018/19 season after competing at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang. She returned to training in July 2019 ahead of the 2019/20 season. "I felt in good shape at all the World Cups [during the 2019/20 season]. I have not had another long break like that in my career, but I felt it was a good decision, I look at competitive sport in the long-term. I began studying when I was on the break."
