Vise performed the first quadruple throw Salchow in ISU competition with former partner Derek Trent at the Grand Prix in Paris in 2007. Her younger sister Brittany competed at the international level in pair skating as well. Baldwin hails from a skating family. Both his parents were skaters, his father was a National Champion in singles and pairs and his older brother John competed at the Olympic level in pair skating. Baldwin has acquired a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
