Stiegler competed in pairs with her brother Johnnie for 15 years (until 2003) and with Bert Cording in 2004 before switching to ice dancing in 2004. Her elder sister Stephanie competed in paris at the international level as well. Magerovski's brother Mikhail (six years younger) is cometing in single skating at the international level, representing Russia. Magerovski competed for Russia before moving to the U.S.. He competed at the 2004 U.S. National Championships with his wife Rebecca, finishing 9th. The couple got married in May 2005.
