Lyons also competes in in ladies' singles and is th '96 U.S Junior champion. Best international results in ladies' singles: Junior Worlds 1998, 7th; Junior Series Final, March 98, 4th. Wells first teamed with his sister to skate pairs and they finished third at the 1989 U.S. Junior Championships and twice made the U.S. World Junior Team.
