Fear's older sister Lilah is a National Ice Dance Champion with partner Lewis Gibson and competes at the Olympic level. Their sister Georgia is an NCAA runner at Dartsmouth College in the USA. Waddell's brother Bruce (three years younger) competes at the international junior level in ice dance, representing Canada. Their grandfather Leonard "Red" Kelly was an NHL hockey star.
