Carron/Jones teamed up in spring 2009. Carron competed successfully at the international level with Matthieu Jost. Jones is originally from Great Britain but moved to France for training in early 2008. He received French citizenship in 2013. Coach Barbara Fusar Poli is the 2001 World Ice Dance Champion (with Maurizio Margaglio).
