Fabbri was the National novice champion in ice dance with Stefania Berton, but then competed in siingles from 2001 to 2007. He participated in three World Junior Championships in singles, with his best result placing 18th in 2007. Coach Barbar Fusar Poli is the 2001 World Ice Dance Champion (with Maurizio Margaglio).
