Komatsbura/Koleto are silver medalists in the Team Event at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games. Komatsubara and Koleto got married to each other in January 2017. He received Japanese citizenship in fall 2020 and took the Japanese name Takeru Komatsubara. The couple is a medalist in the 2022 Olympic Team event. She formerly competed for Italy while he competed for Korea. Coaches Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon are the 2006 and 2007 World silver medalists, competing for Canada.
