Ziegler/Kiefer teamed up in spring 2013. Ziegler competed in singles until 2012, is a two-time National Champion and 2010 Olympian. She took a break from skating but returned to team up with Kiefer. Kiefer also competed in singles and is the 2014 National bronze medalist. His sister Julia is part of their coaching team.
