Wessenberg/Strekalin teamed up in 2025. She competed at the international level in single skating for the USA until 2019 before switching to pair skating. Coach Bruno Massot is the 2018 Olympic Champion (with Aljona Savchenko, representing Germany). Coach Stefania Berton (ITA) is the first Italian pair skater to win a medal at the European Championships (bronze in 2013 with Ondrej Hotarek). Coach Rockne Brubaker (USA) is the 2007 World Junior Pairs Champion (with Keauna McLaughlin).
