Duhamel/Buntin teamed up in June 2007 following the retirement of Buntin's former partner Valerie Marcoux. Duhamel competed sucessfully in singles and pairs at the international level. In addition to the hobbies listed above, Buntin also enjoys watching indie wrestling shows and playing the guitar. He founded a company that distributes a new kind of coffee in Montreal. The couple missed the 2008 Four Continents Championships as he was recovering from a shoulder injury. He underwent shoulder surgery in April 2008. During their Free Program at 2008 Trophee Bompard, she accidentally cut his hand with her blade, but they nevertheless finished the performance and took the bronze medal. The couple also list Sylvie Fullum as one of their coaches.
