Hubbell/Hubbell are brother and sister. She began to skate at age five because she admired 1992 Olympic Champion Kristi Yamaguchi. He started skating at age nine after he quit gymnastics. Keiffer Hubbell co-owns a business that aquacultures corals for the reef aquarium. The couple switched coaches in October 2009. Coach Anjelika Krylova is the 1998 Olympic Ice Dance silver medallist (with Oleg Ovsiannikov competing for Russia) and coach Pasquale Camerlengo competed in ice dance at the World level representing Italy.
