Weaver/Poje teamed up in Augst 2006 and they found immediate success by taking the bronze medal at the Canadian National Championships (senior level) and the bronze medal at the 2007 World Junior Championships. Weaver obtained Canadian citizenship in 2009 and now holds dual citizenship. The couple did not competed in the Grand Prix series in 2018 as the participated in a skating tour in Canada. They dedicate their Free Dance to their friend, the late Denis Ten (KAZ).
