Delobel/Schoenfelder teamed up in 1990 on a suggestion of former World Champions Irina Moiseeva/Andrei Minenkov (RUS). Delobel's twin sister Veronique also competed internationally in ice dance and she also skated with her brother Laurent. Delobel / Schoenfelder are the 1996 World Junior silver medalists. Delobel got married in June 2009 to Ludovic Roux, a former Nordic combined skier and Olympic bronze medallist in the team event in 1998. Their son Lois was born on October 2. Schoenfelder married Isabelle Pecheur in May 2005. Their son Gabriel was born October 26, 2006. The couple missed the 2009 European and World Championships due to injury. Delobel suffered a shoulder injury in December 2008 and underwent surgery on January 5.
