Leng/Shnapir teamed up in spring 2014. Shnapir is a bronze medalist in the team at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games with former partner Marissa Castelli. He started to skate at age 6 because he "wanted to try something new". He was born in Russia and emigrated with his family to the USA when he was 16 months old.
