Prölss/Blommaert teamed up in October 2011. She is competing in single skating as well and and won the silver medal at the 2013 German Junior Championships. He competed in singles for Belgium until 2010. He competed at the European Championships in 2008 and 2009 as well as at the World Junior Championships. Blommaert received German citizenship in July 2014. His twin brother Sander is a dancer with the Royal Ballet in London.
