    Cappellini/Lanotte teamed up in spring 2005. They are the second Ice Dance couple from Italy to win the World title (in 2014) after Barbara Fusar Poli/Maurizio Margaglio won in 2001. Cappellini got married to pair skater Ondrej Hotarek (ITA) in summer 2015. Lanotte and his fiancée, former competitive Ice Dancer Eve Bentley, welcomed a son named Giacomo in October 2016.
