Metelkina/Berulava teamed up in spring 2023. They are the first Georgian figure skaters to win an Olympic medal and the first Georgians to win a medal at Olympic Winter Games in any sports. They are the first Pair team to win the European title (2026) and a medal at the ISU European Championships (silver in 2023), to take medals in the ISU Grand Prix (gold at NHK Trophy in 2024) & Grand Prix Final (bronze 2024). They are also the first to win an ISU Junior Grand Prix event (Cup of Austria 2023). He is the 2022 ISU World Junior Pairs Champion with previous partner Karina Safina. They were the first Georgian skaters to earn an ISU Championship title.
