Ruiter switched coaches following the 2023/24 season and relocated to Toronto. Coach Brian Orser is the 1987 ISU World Champion and a two-time Olympic silver medalist. Coach Tracy Wilson is the 1988 Olympic Ice Dance bronze medalist.
