Reshtenko is the first Czech skater to win a medal at European Championships since 2013 (bronze in 2026). He represents the Czech Republic since 2018. He used to play violin and graduated from music school. He won prizes at different international youth music competitions. Coach Michal Brezina competed at the Olympic level and is the 2013 European bronze medalist.
