Her younger twin brothers are playing ice hockey. Her uncle Mikhail Gershkovich is a well-known soccer coach in Russia. Gershkovich's idol in skating is 1998 Olympic Champion Tara Lipinski. Her favorite jump is the triple Lutz. Coach Elena Vodorezova is the 1983 European silver and World bronze medalist.
