Ten Olympic Figure Skating Temas for Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games finally confirmed.
The United States, Japan, Italy, Canada, Georgia France, Great Britain, Korea, China and Poland will compete in the Figure Skating Team Event in Milano Cortina.

Top qualifiers
   · The USA is the top ranked team with 7069 points
   · Japan follows in second at 6027 points
   · Italy (4606), Canada (4231) and Georgia (4106) are ranked third to fifth.

How did teams qualify?
   · The best skaters earned qualifying points at the ISU World Championships 2025 and during the ISU Grand Prix series 2025/26
   · A team was only able to qualify if they had at least three disciplines qualified for the individual events
   · The skaters in the team event have to be chosen from the athletes that compete in the individual events
   · Germany and Kazakhstan would have qualified based on the ranking of the teams but earned quota places only in two disciplines and are not eligible
   · China and Poland got in instead of Germany and Kazakhstan

Additional athlete quota spots to fill up teams
   · There were a total of five additional athlete quota places available for teams that have qualified in three disciplines to complete their team, attributed in the order of ranking
   · Japan gets an Ice Dance team (two athletes), France can take a Pair Skating couple (two athletes) and Great Britain can add a man (one athlete)
   · These additional athletes can only compete in the Team Event
   · If unused quota places are returned and/or Japan, France or Great Britain do not use the additional athlete spot, first Korea, then Poland get a chance to fill up their team
